Meet Kristen Marie

Kristen Marie is proof that you really can have it all… just probably not all at the same time. She’s your small-town Nevada girl, raised in Beatty, Nevada. Kristen grew up where everyone knows everyone, hard work and good people are what matter most, and country music is a way of life. Kristen eventually headed to the University of Nevada, Reno to study Journalism.

While in college, she joined The Bull and never left. She also spent several years producing the news at KOLO 8 but when motherhood came calling, she decided to swap breaking news for bedtime stories and snack duty. Now she’s a full-time mom to three amazing kids, living life one cup of coffee, one country concert, and one trip to the park at a time. She believes the best memories are made outside, the best songs tell a story, and there’s almost nothing a beach day or live music can’t fix. When she’s not on air, you’ll usually find her working out at home, at the softball field, dancing at a country concert or enjoying a good whiskey on the rocks. Kristen loves making listeners laugh, connecting over the beautiful chaos of family life, and playing the soundtrack to your day. Thanks for spending part of it with her!
